Andy Murray knocked out of ATP European Open by Diego Schwartzman

Andy Murray is out of the ATP European Open after losing 6-4 7-6 to Diego Schwartzman. The British player started well in Antwerp, breaking early to race into a 4-1 lead – only for the Argentinian to win five games in a row to take the first set.

And Schwartzman, 29, duly broke again at 2-2 in second set, only for a resilient Murray to break back two games later to make it 4-4.

It remained on serve until the tie-break, Murray’s fourth in two games, and the 34-year-old saved one match point before Schwartzman took his second chance to make the quarter finals.
