“Britain continuously falls behind when it comes to inclusivity in a lot of ways and I don’t want us to fall behind the Grammys and VMAs who are starting to progress in terms of inclusivity.
“When you look at Generation Z there was a study done by the Trevor Project and 26 percent of 13 to 24-year-olds identify as non-binary.”
Cutting the guest off and bringing the interview to an end, Susanna said: “I’m sorry to interrupt you but we actually have another guest on.”
“No you’re not sorry,” he hit back as she continued: “We do have to go to that guest.”
Adil added: “Sorry we have to cut that because we are running out of time there’s no other reason at all.”
