“He will only cost €25m, but of course, it’s a matter of negotiation.”
The news comes after Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has reportedly vowed to invest in Mikel Arteta’s squad in the summer transfer window.
Gunners fans protested against his ownership of the club ahead of Friday’s game against Everton, in the wake of the failed European Super League breakaway attempt.
According to The Telegraph, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) will invest in the squad when the transfer window opens.
Josh Kroenke, director and majority shareholder, also insisted that he has no plans to sell the club.
