'Bl***y shambles!' Married at First Sight UK stars left gobsmacked by Channel 4 blunder

The cast of the E4 show that sees strangers meet for the first time at the end of the aisle has been entertaining viewers for the past month with their dramatic fights, heartfelt confessions and laugh-out-loud moments. However, the stars have now said they were given no prior warning when the show’s finale episode failed to air last night.

Some stars saw the funny side, but others took to social media to blast E4 for dropping the ball.

Adam Aveling, 26, shared his frustration with his 77.8k Instagram followers.

“What an absolute s**t show!!!!!” he wrote on his story.

“Shocking this! Good job I cancelled the post I had scheduled for 10:00pm”.

Last night fans of the show were supposed to see if Adam and his wife Tayah Victoria, 25, chose to renew their vows but have been left on tenterhooks instead.

Later the star posted: “Bit of an update, heard absolutely nothing from e4/Channel 4, been waiting for this episode for 4 months and this happens and nobody tells us anything, f***ing shocking.”

He added: “Someone from e4 tell me wtf is going on!?”

Since Saturday night, Channel 4 has been experiencing technical difficulties following an unplanned evacuation of the broadcast tower over the weekend.

Luke was also set to renew his vows with 31-year-old veterinary nurse Morag Crichton, but whether this happened is still a mystery.

Personal trainer Marilyse Corrigan, 37, shared some of the frantic messages that she received from fellow cast members during the finale ‘mess up’.

“I spoke to Amy, they all just said, ‘Oh my God, what a mess up,’ and I spoke to them all and they were like, ‘Oh, it’s frozen on Josh’,” she told OK! Magazine.

Sports journalist Amy, 34, and insurance worker Josh, 26, were yet another couple that the public were waiting to see renew their vows last night.
