'Common sense crisis!' GB News Patrick Christys erupts at panic buyers storming forecourts

GB news host Patrick Christys furiously called out panic buyers filling water bottles with fuel or diesel. The enranged presented slammed the “idiots” hogging access routes to forecourts, noting there appears to be “common sense crisis” going on. The slamming came after a few panic buyers were seen stocking up on fuel with plastic bottles.

The GB News host said: “There’s a great big national experiment taking place right now – we have a census every 10 years; we occasionally have a referendum, and every few years we have a general election.

“But right now a fuel crisis is answering this question; ‘how many idiots are there in Britain’?

“If you’re filling up a plastic bag full of petrol at a forecourt in Nuneaton, or a water bottle full of diesel in Slough.

“You’re an idiot.”

He continued: “If you’re so worked up about this totally manmade fuel crisis that you’re brandishing a knife at a petrol station or fighting someone outside and ESSO, you’re an idiot.

I love the British public, I really do.

“But goodness me, Ladies and gentlemen, there may not be a fuel crisis out there, but there really is a common sense crisis going on at the moment, isn’t there?”

And the reason why I’m calling it out is because it’s actually affecting the country as a whole, now.”

He went on: “We’re seeing headlines today, The Army’s been called in to help deliver fuel’.

I mean that in itself is okay. It’s not as if they’ve got their hands full in Kabul anymore, is it?

“But the other headlines were about whether or not key workers should get priority access to fuel.

Well, I think yes, they obviously should, but this shouldn’t be a question, they shouldn’t need priority access, because there shouldn’t be a crisis.

A motorist was filmed emptying water bottles and then filling them with petrol.

The driver queuing behind her filmed the scene and said he could not believe the “stupidity of this woman”.

He said: ‘This is the kind of thing that causes the problem.

“People filling up things they shouldn’t be filling up and no one else can get the fuel because of other people’s stupidity.

“The queue was all the way down the slip road. We were queuing for about 20 to 30 minutes.

“She was all blasé and doing it right in front of me. It’s ludicrous.”
