Dakota Johnson reveals she LIED about loving limes and is actually 'mildly allergic' to citrus fruit

Dakota Johnson admitted she told a lie during her Architectural Digest house tour last year on Tuesday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

As the 31-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actress reflected on giving a tour of her midcentury-modern home in March 2020, she confessed to fibbing about loving limes.

Despite emphatically professing her fondness for the fruit, which could be seen on her kitchen counter, she told the host that they actually make her ‘tongue itch.’

‘I’m actually allergic to limes. I’m mildly allergic to limes and honeydew melon,’ she told Fallon, 56, after he mentioned the footage of her stunning all-green kitchen.

She explained: ‘I actually didn’t even know they were in there. I was giving the tour and went into the kitchen and it was set dressing.’

After Fallon playfully grilling her about what prompted her to say she loved limes, the star said, ‘it was hard to just ignore them, so I just lied,’ and went ‘the full opposite direction’ of the truth.
