Doctor Who star ‘absolutely knackered’ as they detail long days on set

In an interview with Radio Times, Sandall revealed how working under heavy prosthetics leads to long working days.

The Doctor Who villain said: “You’re at work four hours before everyone else – our pick-ups were at 3.30 am.”

She added that the crew were “absolutely knackered” at the end of filming.

Whittaker will not be the only person to step down from the series as the show’s head writer, Chris Chibnall, will also be leaving after this latest outing.
