Donny van de Beek's next options after Man Utd flop's touchline tantrum

Loan Move

The 24-year-old could replicate Jesse Lingard’s loan move and reignite his career, after the Englishman starred at West Ham and helped them achieve a Europa League place.

Lingard is now a regular in the United team, albeit off the bench, but the move has now placed him in a powerful position, as he can fight for his place at Old Trafford with the assurance that teams will battle to sign him should he look to leave.

Van De Beek was linked with moved to both Everton and Roma towards the end of the summer but decided to stay put at United. However, the Dutchman could look to move like Lingard did during the January window.

It’s unlikely that a permanent move could be on the cards for Van De Beek anytime soon, as United will not be able to recoup anywhere near the amount of money that they paid for the Dutchman, making a loan move more likely.
