'Focus on the book' Fergie to avoid questions on Prince Andrew at upcoming Henley Festival

The Duchess of York, 61, will attend the book festival in Oxfordshire to promote her new novel ‘Her Heart for a Compass’. The Telegraph has revealed Fergie will answer questions hand-picked by organisers.

The questions will be sent in prior to the event via email.

Other authors will not have the same luxury.

They are expected to answer impromptu questions for 15-minutes.

The broadsheet also reports the move was not requested by the Duchess or Henley Festival’s organisers.

Instead, Fergie’s publishers are believed to be behind the decision.

A source told the Telegraph: “She doesn’t shy away from questions on any subject, but this is a literary festival and the publishers are keen to keep the focus on the book.”

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife has seemingly been somewhat open to answer questions about other topics in recent times.

She has spoken openly about her relationship with the Duke of York, the Queen, Diana and the fall-out of Megxit.
