Gary Neville believes Manchester United could let three players leave the club in the summer transfer window. United are preparing for the transfer window in good shape, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side second in the Premier League and in the final of the Europa League.
Victory over Aston Villa on Sunday extended their unbeaten away run in the Premier League to 25 matches and, with 70 points, they are all but assured of a Champions League place next season.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani saw United come from behind once more and seal a 3-1 win at Villa Park.
Things got even better for United on Monday, when Cavani committed his future to the club by signing a one-year contract extension.
The 34-year-old has scored 15 goals in 35 appearances this season, eight of which have come in his last seven matches, and will be a real asset to the club in 2021/22.
While they have Cavani’s signature for next season, there are plenty of pieces of business which remain outstanding before the transfer window opens on June 9 for 12 weeks.

United are targeting a centre-back to partner Harry Maguire and are also interested in Borussia Dortmund attacking pair Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho.
Amid all the talk about incomings at Old Trafford, those who might leave have perhaps gone under the radar.
However, with five matches left of their season, Neville has predicted those who may be shown the exit from the club at the end of the season.
“I think Juan Mata has done fantastically well for the club but I think he’ll leave,” the former United defender said on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
“I think they can get good money for Daniel James, but again, he could go somewhere else and they can get good money for him.
“There’s a feeling that Jesse Lingard, he’s done really well at West Ham, but I think Ole will say no, he can explore and go elsewhere.

Man Utd could be handed ideal Haaland and Kane transfer alternative
“Van de Beek has to stay, in my opinion. The rest of them: Rashford, Fernandes, Greenwood, Pogba, Martial, van de Beek and Cavani – if Manchester United were to sign Harry Kane and Sancho, for example, then will Cavani play? Will Greenwood? Where will that leave Rashford?
“Where does Pogba fit in, if Ole plays two defensive midfielders as he does, with Fernandes in front because he’s a guarantee.
“I think Sancho comes in and he plays on that right-hand side, you’ve potentially got the back-up of Greenwood on that side, you’ve got Cavani and Greenwood up front.
“On the left, you’ve got Rashford and Martial and then you’ve got Pogba who potentially fits in if he’s not in midfield.
“If you sign Kane or Haaland, I don’t think that basically works for United with the way they’ve recruited in the last few years.
“Allowing young players like Greenwood, making sure Rashford plays, Van de Beek getting a game. I think it’s Sancho and then that’s their business done.”
