‘Ghastly!’ Kirsty Gallagher blasts Nicki Minaj as UK impression compared to Dick Van Dyke

Singer Nicki Minaj shocked the British public after she started to reply to top UK Government figures who addressed claims her cousin’s friend became impotent because of the COVID-19 vaccine. Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty said the star should be “ashamed” for peddling vaccine myths with Prime Minister Boris Johnson stating he was unaware of her work. Nicki Minaj then responded with an exaggerated voice note mocking the British accent with GB News presenters Kirsty Gallagher and Simon McCoy then biting back at the strange interaction.

Nicki Minaj tweeted: “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding.

“So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.”

The tweet prompted a lot of backlash as many accused Nicki Minaj of peddling anti-vaccine sentiments.

The star saw Professor Whitty and Boris Johnson respond to her tweets which prompted another response from her mocking the government figures.

Ms Gallagher and Mr McCoy discussed the story on GB News with Ms Gallagher saying: “Isn’t it fascinating listening to that, forget the accent.

“But what others and especially Nicki Minaj thinks about Britain and those who represent Britain.

“I mean Margeret Thatcher died a long time ago.”

Mr McCoy did not like the “tone” of the response with Ms Gallagher saying it was “ghastly”.

“Many of those people I regret to say will know they are peddling untruths but they still do it, in my view, they should be ashamed.”

The condemnation saw a response from Nicki Minaj who said: “Hello Prime Minister Boris, it’s Nicki Minaj. I was just calling to tell you I thought you were so amazing on the news this morning and I am actually British.

“I was born there, I went to university there, I went to Oxford. I went to school with Margaret Thatcher and she told me so many nice things about you.

“I’d love to send you a portfolio of my work since you don’t know much about me. I am a big big star in the United States.”
