The US President disclosed his morning routine during an interview on the campaign trail last year with governor Gretchen Whitmer. He said: “It’s hard to get into a really regular schedule, but for me, I’ve been sticking to a routine and it helps. It helps me deal with my day.
“I try to get out of bed by eight o’clock in the morning and I have a gym in my house upstairs. I have a treadmill and a Peloton bike and some weights.
“And I try to work out every morning for me. That sort of gets me going. And then I take a shower and go down, have some to eat.
“I usually have a protein shake and the day starts usually with somewhere between 40 minutes and an hour and a half meeting with the medical staff [dealing with Covid].”
Despite his healthy habits, fears have been raised about the 46th US President’s health – after he made a series of gaffes while addressing the media.
One such incident happened during his first press conference since taking office earlier this year.
The blunder sparked a conversation on social media regarding Mr Biden’s fitness for the top job and prompted #DementiaJoe to trend.
During the conference, Mr Biden mistakenly claimed America ranked 85th in world infrastructure, before quickly correcting himself.
In one of his statements, he stressed he was good at getting things done in the US Senate but suddenly trailed off and cut his sentence short.
