BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker made his dancing debut on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night. He performed his first competitive dance of the series alongside professional partner Nadia Bychkova. However, he left fans worried for a moment when he collapsed after completing the dance.
Dan wowed Strictly viewers on Saturday night when he performed a quickstep to Everybody Needs Somebody To Love.
The dance took inspiration from his day job as a presenter on BBC Breakfast and even featured the morning show’s iconic red sofa.
The energetic dance impressed the judges and viewers at home, but it seems it was all a bit too much for the BBC presenter.
After finishing the performance he was supposed to walk over to Strictly host Tess Daly to discuss the dance, but instead he collapsed in a heap.

Motsi Mabuse commented: “I was pleasantly surprised, that was not perfect but what I really loved, from the bottom of my heart, was you risked something.”
“You came out, gave it your best. You are going to be a shining star,” she added.
Meanwhile, head judge Shirley Ballas noted that Dan’s height would be an advantage to him in the competition.
“You have the height and I’ve never seen a neck that long in all my life which is a huge asset when you’re a dancer,” she told Dan.
