Atletico Madrid star Jan Oblak is open to joining Manchester United in this summer’s transfer window, according to reports. The Slovenia international has been in terrific form for the La Liga giants this term. But he could be on the move at the end of the campaign.
Manchester United are currently blessed when it comes to goalkeepers.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still has David De Gea as an option, with the Spain international cutting out the errors in his game this term.
And the Norwegian also has Dean Henderson at his disposal, with the England international recently ousting De Gea from the No 1 spot.
Despite that, however, 90min say United have strong interest in Oblak ahead of the summer transfer window.
And, what’s more, the Atletico Madrid star is actually open to a blockbuster move to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
The Slovenia international is ready to pursue a move to United should the situation evolve, with the Red Devils potentially using De Gea as bait.

It’s said the Spaniard, who has been in England ever since moving from Atletico back in the summer transfer window of 2011, would be willing to make the move.
United could then feasibly offer De Gea plus a cash sum to entice Diego Simeone’s men into parting ways with their prized asset, who has kept 14 clean sheets from 29 La Liga matches this term.
While they’re happy with De Gea and Henderson, they harbour doubts over whether the latter has the talents required to hold onto the No 1 spot for the long term.
So a move for Oblak could be on the cards as a result.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer recently opened up on both of his goalkeepers – and urged De Gea to rise to the challenge of being dropped.

Solskjaer said: “When you are part of Manchester United you are always going to have players coming in.
“They have not come here to fill the bench or the squad.
“Everyone has got the ambition to fill your shirt.
“I was there as a striker when we signed Dwight Yorke, Teddy Sheringham, Louis Saha, Ruud van Nistelrooy.
“The aim for me then is to prove to the manager that you might have made a new signing but I am still going to give it everything I can to play.
“David has had ten years here and had challenges.”
United legend Paul Scholes thinks Henderson is the club’s main goalkeeper for the time being, despite Solskjaer insisting De Gea and the shot-stopper were both first-choice.
He said: “I think it’s always awkward when you’re trying to keep two goalkeepers happy.
“I was in a team that tried to replace Peter Schmeichel for years and it wasn’t until we got Edwin van der Sar, five or six years later, until it seemed to settle down again. Who’s number one here?
“Ole’s said both of them, he’s clearly wrong.
“I think he couldn’t wait to give Dean Henderson a chance and with David de Gea’s girlfriend or wife having a baby, it gave him the opportunity to play Dean Henderson, which he’s done.
“I think the number one is the one that plays in Premier League games.
“Has Dean Henderson totally convinced Ole? I think he’s got a big chance to do it, I don’t think he has over the past five or six games.
“You have to say, David is a quality keeper, the service he’s given to United. What he did for four or five years when United were really struggling.
“They could’ve been a mid-table team without him. He’s lost a bit of form and a bit of confidence, but I wouldn’t write him off.”
