Royal author Duncan Larcombe said the Duchess of Cambridge has passed her “love of dressing up” to her three children. Mr Larcombe added that the Duke also enjoys dressing up, while the royals “like to throw a good family party”.
Mr Larcombe told OK! magazine: “We know the royals love dressing up and throwing a good party and I think it would be fair to assume that the Cambridges will go to town at Halloween.
“Kate Middleton obviously has fond memories of Halloween nights and parties with her parents and family.
“There’s a photo of her dressed in a witchy outfit in her twenties so she’s kept the tradition going and no doubt she’s passed that love of dressing up to her kids.
“Prince William is known to like dressing up too. He had a huge fancy dress party at Windsor Castle for his 21st and the royals in general like to throw a good family party.
“They’re no strangers to making their own family fun.”
Mr Larcombe highlighted how Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton run Party Pieces and suggested the Duchess could have bought Halloween supplies from the family business.
He said: “You can’t really imagine a family like the Middletons not marking Halloween.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Kate has got everything she needs for a family party from her mum’s website.”

“I didn’t see what she actually bought.
“The lady that told me she was there had children with her and she said Kate was asking her children what they were going to be for Halloween.
“I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kids but I don’t know what.”
Kate and William often spend holidays at their Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk.
For this half term they have headed abroad for a break.
The family were spotted outside Heathrow Airport last Thursday with their bags.
It is not known where the Cambridges were travelling to for their holiday.
