'Lot of hip movements' Charlotte goes 'completely crazy with Louis' over song she loves

The Duke of Cambridge, 39, shared plenty of personal stories during his special Christmas episode of Apple Fitness+ Time to Walk series, including a lovable insight into the Cambridge children’s music listening habit. The father of three spoke about Princess Charlotte, six, Prince George, eight, and Prince Louis, three, while encouraging people to walk for their mental health over the holidays.

Speaking about the Royal Family while taking a walk through the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, the Duke revealed his two youngest children have been enjoying listening to Shakira and dancing “around the kitchen”.

The royal said: “One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka.

“There’s a lot of hip movements going along.

“There’s a lot of dressing up.

The audio recorded aims to encourage people to walk more while also promoting better mental health.

William teamed up with Apple Fitness+ and led his walk through Sandringham Estate, Sandringham House, St. Mary Magdalene Church and concluded in Anmer.

In an Instagram post on Friday, the royal wrote: “Walking has been a feature of my life during the good times and the bad, come rain or shine.

“For me, it provides an opportunity to clear my mind and gain some perspective.

“It’s a key part of how I manage my mental health. It can be a very sociable exercise or a moment of complete calm and isolation.

“In the hope of inspiring a few other people to get active and take some extra time for their own mental health – I wanted to share a few of my stories and favourite songs with you in an episode of Time to Walk.

“This experience means even more to me knowing that three great mental health charities: @giveusashoutinsta, @crisistextline and @lifelineaustralia will receive donations to help continue the important work they’re doing to provide 24/7 support to those in need.”

Listeners will be able to hear Prince William’s new partnership with Apple Fitness, which will be available on Apple Music One, from Monday, December 6.
