Madonna has taken part in a stylish photoshoot for fashion magazine V this month, inspired by American icon Marilyn Monroe.
The pictures, which were taken by photographer Steven Klein, are a “homage to the glamour and tragedy of Marilyn”.
The shoot was inspired by Bert Stern’s The Last Sitting photoshoot, which the actress posed for just before her tragic death in 1962.
Madonna can be seen in an array of underwear, corsets and jewellery in the images, as she struts through a hotel and poses on a bed.
At 63 the legendary singer is showing no signs of slowing down and has just completed her 11th concert tour, the Madame X tour, and her 14th studio album.
She told the publication: “I don’t even think about my age, to tell you the truth. I just keep going.
“Even when I performed almost my entire tour in agony, I had no cartilage left in my right hip, and everyone kept saying, ‘You gotta stop, you gotta stop.’ I said, ‘I will not stop. I will go until the wheels fall off.'”
