Meghan Markle 'peaked' with new TIME cover as Prince Harry loses royal 'gravitas'

GB News host Patrick Christys has savaged the Sussexes over their new photoshoots, which were released in the Time Magazine on the duke’s 37th birthday. The US publication’s cover page is a glossy image of Harry and Meghan, taken at their Montecito home in California. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are the cover stars of Time magazine’s list of the most influential people in the world.

Speaking on GB news, Patrick Christys piqued: “The fact is that when they appeared on the front of Time Magazine, she’s peaked, but he’s stooped.

“He swapped genuine gravitas status in class for being on the front cover of a glossy mag.

“The quote is this, ‘Harry and Megan springing into action is not the easy choice for a young Duke and Duchess who’ve been blessed by birth and talent and burned by faith.

“ ‘It will be much safer to enjoy their good fortune and stay silent. They run towards the struggle’.”

He went on: “Sorry, what struggle?”

“The struggle, firstly if there was a struggle, they wouldn’t be running towards it.

“They fly towards it on a private jet, so let’s have that right.

He continued: “Secondly, the only struggle is when the heating isn’t working in one of their pools.”

The presenter then asked:“What actual practical change have they affected? What have they actually done?

Do you think they do any of this virtue signaling nonsense if the cameras weren’t there?

“I don’t.

Jose Andres, a friend and chef of the Sussexes wrote that the couple are “driven” and “compassionate”, and give a “voice to the voiceless”.

He said: “Springing into action is not the easy choice for a young duke and duchess who have been blessed through birth and talent, and burned by fame. It would be much safer to enjoy their good fortune and stay silent. “

“They run towards the struggle.”

Meghan and Harry were named among top 100 people globally unveiled on the duke’s 37th birthday.

On their Archwell Foundation website, the couple said they were “humbled” to be part of Time’s annual top 100 list.

The photograph shows the Duchess dressed in an all-white outfit, standing in front of Harry who is wearing a dark brown shirt.

The Duke has his right hand on the Duchesses’ upper-arm.
