Michael Douglas, 77, and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, 52, have today celebrated their retrospective birthdays. To mark the joyous occasion, the Wall Street actor posted a special tribute to his gorgeous spouse, as he shared a photo of their first-ever meeting at a film festival back in 1998.
Michael admits he “lucked out” when he met Welsh-born Catherine, as not only did they share the same birthday, but they also had similar interests, including golf.
Sharing a youthful snap of them from over two decades ago, Michael typed: “My first-night meeting Catherine at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998.
“I found out that she had the same birthday as me–ta dah! Then when I discovered she loved golf, I realized all my fantasies had come true.
“I’ve lucked out at this time in my life. I just lucked out. I’m so impressed by her intelligence, sense of humour and work ethic.
