Princess Beatrice recycled a Gucci dress following Kate’s Earthshot awards example

Businesswoman Nina married Philippos in a religious ceremony in the Metropolitan Cathedral in Athens. The couple previously held a small civil wedding ceremony in 2020. Princess Beatrice wore a long-sleeved maxi dress from Gucci with a pink sequin bow, a gown the royal had also been seen wearing in 2018.

Beatrice wore the outfit when she walked the red carpet for the 9th Annual Global Gift Gala.

Princess Beatrice recently welcomed her first child with her husband on September 18.

Princess Beatrice posted the name of her new born on Twitter: “We are delighted to share that we have named our daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.”

The Princess married Edoardo Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi in a private ceremony on July 17 last year at the Royal Chapel of All Saints, Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Princess Beatrice is not the only royal to recycle her clothing and wear it again on another occasion.

Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a recycled Alexander McQueen dress as she walked the green carpet in support of Prince William, who was launching his inaugural The Earthshot Prize.

Guests at the inaugural event were told not to buy new clothes, with celebrities such as Emma Thompson and Emma Watson walking the green carpet in recycled outfits.

Royal commentator Natalie Oliveri said: “All guests were asked not to buy anything new to attend The Earthshot Prize, and Kate led by example wearing a beautiful Alexander McQueen lilac gown.
