People in France, including British tourists will need to prove they are fully-vaccinated, recovered or have tested negative within the last 48 hours.

Unvaccinated British children will need to take regular tests on a family holiday in France to enter popular venues.

Although accommodation will not necessarily require a health passport, shared facilities such as swimming pools or restaurants will need the document.

The safest regions within France included Brittany, Normandy, Hauts de France and Centre- Val de Loire.
