As the MP tried to offer her sympathies for the mother, Richard ranted: “Big deal, that’s not helping them, is it?”
“She’s paralysed, she’s paralysed because she was stuck in traffic for six hours when she should’ve been in hospital getting blood thinners, and you offer your sympathies.
“I don’t think they want your sympathies, they want you to explain why you think it’s reasonable to do that to another human being in the cause of what you regard as for the greater good.”
