The One Show issues apology as viewers in uproar over blunder 'You had one job!'

A segment on BBC’s The One Show saw a salon in Wales where customers had been using “chat-friendly” masks. But viewers were distracted by the baffling narration and immediately took to Twitter to question what had happened. Hosts Harry Judd and Angellica Bell were forced to apologise to viewers for the strange sounds.

Neil wrote: “Sort out the voiceover … you’ve got one job #TheOneShow.”

@MyNameisBetty69 penned: “20 points if you can work out who originally recorded the voiceover #TheOneShow there’s always something!!”

“What’s with the double voiceover on #TheOneShow? ” Sharon asked.

@DaveNebula echoed this, posting: “Why Why are are there there two two voiceovers? voiceovers? #TheOneShow #TheOneShow.”
