In second place was Chester.
Most known for its black and white Tudor buildings and city walls, Chester scored highly for interest in design and culture.
In third place was Salford.
The northern city has a great art scene and is only a stone’s throw away from Manchester.
Great interest in design make it a stylish city that offers interested Britons plenty of cultural attractions.
And the city also has plenty of future potential with many top design schools that will ensure its stylish future is bright.
In sixth place was York, while St Albans came seventh.
The two cathedral cities have plenty of highly rated boutique hotels for Britons to stay at and should offer no shortage of things to do on an autumn or winter break.
Rounding off the list were Wakefield in eighth place, Worcester in ninth and Brighton & Hove in tenth.
For interest in style, it’s the North West that takes the crown, with Salford a clear winner, closely followed by Chester.
